First Vehicle Acquired for SEMBrem
A Major Milestone for Shared Electric Mobility in Bremerton
Mobility for All is excited to announce the acquisition of the first vehicle for the Sustainable Electric Mobility Bremerton (SEMBrem) initiative.
The vehicle, a Chevrolet Bolt EV, represents an important first step in bringing affordable, shared electric transportation options to Bremerton residents through the ZEV co-op carshare network.
The Bolt is currently undergoing installation of INVERS carshare technology, which will allow approved members to reserve, access, and operate the vehicle directly through the ZEV mobile app. Once the hardware installation is complete, the vehicle will be professionally branded with Kitsap Credit Union graphics and prepared for public deployment.
A Community Partnership
The first SEMBrem vehicle will be located at Kitsap Credit Union's Bremerton Harborside Branch, where it will serve as a convenient and accessible transportation resource for community members.
Kitsap Credit Union has been a key partner in helping advance shared electric mobility in Bremerton, providing a highly visible and transit-connected location for the vehicle while supporting broader efforts to expand transportation access throughout the city.
What's Next?
Over the coming weeks, the Chevrolet Bolt will receive:
INVERS carshare hardware installation
Vehicle branding and graphics
Final software integration and testing
Site preparation and signage installation
Once complete, the vehicle will be added to the ZEV co-op platform and made available for public reservations.
Building a More Connected Bremerton
The Chevrolet Bolt is the first of several shared electric vehicles planned as part of the SEMBrem program. Together with community partners including Kitsap Credit Union, Bremerton Foodline, Marvin Williams Recreation Center, and others, Mobility for All is working to create a network of affordable transportation options that help residents access jobs, services, recreation, and everyday destinations.
This vehicle marks more than just the arrival of a new car. It represents the beginning of a community-owned mobility network designed to provide greater freedom, flexibility, and transportation choice for Bremerton residents.
More updates will be shared soon as the vehicle nears launch.
